Kindness Week
This week, our school celebrated Kindness Week, which also aligned with Anti-Bullying Week. While there were many important conversations around anti-bullying, our main focus was spreading kindness and positivity across our school community.
Each day featured a theme and activity designed to encourage kindness toward ourselves, others, and our environment.
💛
Monday – Kindness to Ourselves
Pupils took part in activities focused on self-kindness and positive thinking using a Be Kind to Yourself mat.
💙
Tuesday – Kindness to Friends
Children shared thoughtful words with one another by completing a Compliment Cup, recording compliments received from classmates throughout the day.
💚
Wednesday – Kindness to Our Environment
Pupils decorated Kindness Rocks with positive messages. These were placed in the courtyard as a lasting reminder to spread kindness.
💗
Thursday – Kindness in Our School Community
Everyone contributed to a whole-school Kindness Tree by writing a kind word or action on a heart and adding it to the display.
💜
Friday – Kindness in Our Classrooms
We ended the week with a celebration to thank pupils for their kindness and positive attitudes.
It was a wonderful week filled with positivity, encouragement, and meaningful acts of kindness—both big and small. 💖
